For GP practices in England
Your Google rating is your practice's front door
Most patients check Google before they register, book, or complain. Feedbacker turns everyday appointments into genuine Google reviews, using a QR code and about ten seconds of a patient's time.
The problem
Happy patients do not leave reviews. Unhappy ones do.
Our analysis of 4,974 GP practices in England with 20 or more Google reviews puts the national average at 3.19 stars. That is not a reflection of the care being delivered. It is a reflection of who bothers to write a review. A patient who waited three weeks for an appointment will find your Google listing unprompted. A patient whose consultation went well will not. With NHS.uk no longer publishing its own star ratings, Google is now the main public rating a prospective patient sees.
How it works
Three steps, no patient data
- 1
Display your QR codes
You get a unique QR code for every consulting room, generated from your dashboard and ready to print. Put them on the desk, the wall, or the back of the door.
- 2
Patients scan on their own phone
One scan takes the patient straight to your practice's Google review page. No app to download, no form to fill in, no account to create.
- 3
Your rating climbs
Reviews come from the patients who had a normal, uneventful, perfectly good appointment. The ones who were never going to write anything unprompted.
Results
What that looks like in practice
One GP practice using Feedbacker went from roughly 2.0 stars to 3.7 stars in under three months. No change to how they deliver care, just a steady flow of reviews from patients who were already happy.
Results depend on patient volume and how visibly the codes are displayed. Feedbacker does not write, filter, or alter reviews.
What you get
Everything a practice needs
- A QR code for every consulting room, print ready
- A dashboard showing scans and review clicks, by room and by clinician
- Direct links your staff can send to a patient after a telephone or video appointment
- Smart Rotation, to point codes at a different destination on chosen days if you ever need to
- Setup in an afternoon, with a written guide
Compliance
Built for how the NHS actually works
Feedbacker collects no patient data. There is no form, no login, and nothing stored about the person scanning the code, so there is nothing to process under GDPR. Asking patients for reviews is encouraged by the GMC, the CQC, and NHS England. We will never let you offer patients anything in exchange for a review, ask them to change one, or show the codes to some patients and not others. Those are the rules, and the product is built around them.
